Corinthian-Casuals F.C. are a football club based in Tolworth[http://www.runtrackdir.com/uk/pics/tolworth/tolworth-sr_liddle-a640.jpg] in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. They were meant to be relegated from the Isthmian League First Division South in 2006–07 but were reprieved on 5 June 2007 due to the merger of Hayes and Yeading. The club was formed in 1939 by a merger of two amateur clubs, Corinthians, who formed in 1882, and Casuals, who formed in 1878 (though till recently thought to be 1883).
Despite an almost immediate break for World War II, in 1945 they took Casuals' place in the Isthmian League, and gradually dropped down its divisions. In 1988 the team acquired its first home ground, King George's Field [http://aolsearch.aol.co.uk/redir?urn=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.liverpoolpictorial.co.uk%2Fmaghull%2Fimages%2Fmag3.jpg&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.liverpoolpictorial.co.uk%2Fmaghull%2Fimages%2Fmag3.jpg&&requestId=4ef0240adb72ebc8&clickedItemRank=4&source=googleImage&searchType=IS&partner=Google&query=King%20George's%20Field] in Tolworth, and on a tour of Brazil, Sócrates played a match for the club.
