FK Teplice
Description
FK Teplice is a Czech football club based in the city of Teplice (80 km north of Prague). The club was founded after the World War II in 1945. The club advanced to the 1st Czechoslovakian division in just 3 years after being founded and played mostly in the 1st and 2nd Czechoslovakian division and after split of Czechoslovakia in the 1st and 2nd Czech division. After the Velvet Revolution and comeback of rich sponsor, Glaverbel (formerly Sklo Union), the club returned to the 1st division in 1996 and had a big success winning the Czech Football Cup and beating Feyenoord Rotterdam, 1. FC Kaiserslauternbut were eventually defeated by Glasgow Celtic in the UEFA Cup.
