Farnham Town
Description
Farnham Town F.C. are a semi-professional football club based in Farnham, Surrey, England. They were established in 1912 and were among the founder members of the London Spartan League in 1975. They reached the 4th round of the FA Vase in the 1976-77 season.
During the early 90's they were one of the biggest names in local football and won the Combined Counties League in successive seasons. However the lack of funds to compete with increasing player wage bills and continuous need for upgraded facilities landed them with numerous financial problems and they now ply their trade in Division One.
The chairman of Farnham Town is local legend Geoff Chapple who previously managed Woking and Kingstonian.
Henry Chamberlin has recently been elected as the club's honorary president due to his commitment to the club both as a player and manager. His company are now Town's official sponsor.
