Glasshoughton Welfare F.C. is a football club based in Glasshoughton near Castleford, West Yorkshire, England and currently are members of the Northern Counties East Football League Premier Division.
They joined the Northern Counties East Football League Division Three in 1985 and have reached the 2nd round of the FA Vase twice in their history.
In April 2007 the club signed former Liverpool goalkeeper Bruce Grobbelaar, a local resident, for a one-off appearance which it was hoped would raise significant funds to alleviate the club's financial difficulties.
