Description
The Guyana national football team is the national team of Guyana and is controlled by the Guyana Football Federation. Although the former British colony is located in South America, it competes in CONCACAF, together with Suriname and French Guiana. Until the independence of Guyana in 1966, it competed as the British Guiana national football team. They are surprise qualifiers for the Caribbean Nations Cup 2007.
