Kaliber 44 is a Polish hip hop band formed in 1994 in Katowice by Piotr Łuszcz ("Magik"), Marcin Marten ("Dab") and Michał Marten ("Joka"). The name of the group does not come from a gun, but from the calibre of problems the group spoke about and the number 44 is a reference to Dziady written by Adam Mickiewicz.
