Club de Futbol Monterrey, also known as Monterrey, is a Mexican football club from Monterrey, Nuevo León, in the northeast of the country, and is also the oldest team from the state. They are owned by FEMSA, Mexico's largest beverage company. The team is popularly known as La Pandilla and was founded in 1945. Their biggest rival is UANL Tigres, with whom they play a derby called the Clásico Regiomontano.
