NK Čelik (Nogometni Klub Čelik) is a football club from Bosnia and Herzegovina, playing in the city of Zenica.
The name Čelik means "Steel", which symbolizes the strength and power of the club and the city, Zenica is an industrial city well known in this part of Europe.
NK Čelik is one of the most prominent and successful football teams in Bosnia and Herzegovina. During the time of the former Yugoslavia, Čelik played 17 years in the Yugoslav First League.
Čelik won the Mitropa Cup two times, and the Intertoto Cup once. Today, Čelik is in the Football Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina and is active in the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina. After wining 3 titles of Bosnia and Herzegovina League situation dramaticaly changed for NK Čelik. Because of many things, like, corrupiton of club management club fell in debt. The only and the last thing holding NK Čelik as a member of Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina is number of supporters at every NK Čelik home match which is the highest in the league from the beginning of national league and of course because of great stadium where also Bosnian national team play and achieve good results.

The club is in debt, and there are reports that the major shareholder of Heart of Midlothian FC in Scotland, Vladimir Romanov, is about to launch a takeover bid. Because of the lack of laws concerning sport clubs in Bosnia and Herzegovina, this takeover is doubtful.
