NK Zadar is a Croatian football club, from Zadar on the Croatian coast. The club was founded in 1945.
Josip Skoblar, Giovanni Rosso, Dado Pršo, Jakov Surac and Luka Modrić, are among the most successful to come from the team.
NK Zadar's home stadium is the Stanovi stadium with a capacity of 8,000. The club's fans are known as the Tornado. Their crest features the city's landmark Church of St. Donatus.
The club was promoted to the Prva HNL on 30 May 2007 after beating NK Pula in the promotion playoff, 6-2 on aggregate.
