Redbridge F.C. is an English football (soccer) club based in the London Borough of Redbridge. Prior to July 2004 the club was known as Ford United F.C. The new name was chosen to help associate the club more with the area where they are based, and less with the Ford Motor Company.
They should not be confused with the former Redbridge Forest F.C., a predecessor of the current Dagenham & Redbridge F.C., though both come from the borough of Redbridge in Greater London.
Redbridge played the 2005-06 season in the Isthmian League Premier Division, as they were relegated after finishing bottom of Conference South, and played in the Isthmian League First Division North in the 2006-07 season after being relegated once again.
