Tacuarembó Fútbol Club, usually known simply as Tacuarembó, are an Uruguayan football club based in Tacuarembó. The supporters have a big flag with the legend "Tacuarembó es gardel", referring to the (contested) Uruguayan nationality of the tango singer Carlos Gardel, who apparently (most probably) was born in Tacuarembó.
Like the inner-country team Rocha,Tacuarembó is a super merge of several clubs,21,and represents all the department,except Paso de los Toros city.
